CLONE!!!

Hey guys!!!

So I'm pretty sure all over the world there are trends set. for example a couple of years ago there was a fashion craze of short, tight skirts at my school and probably other places too :) At that point I would say I was about twelve. Every girl at my school was wearing these skirts - all except...... my friends.

Okay so me and my friends aren't exactly the "popular kids" in school and as a joke we have called ourselves the rejects of the rejects. I have a very random group of friends all of whom have crazy personalities and even though we are all so different we can agree on many things one of them being:
Don't follow trends just because it is a trend.
I think that this is a very fair statement. Why do something If you don't like it but everyone else does... it makes no sense!

So when this skirt trend was occurring only the people in my friendship group wore those skirts who like them.
If you are out there on your phone, laptop or tablet or whatever you are reading this on and you think that you are doing something that you don't like I have one thing to say to you... change that :)
Do whatever you like... if you are seen as uncool or something stupid like that then whoever says that are obviously not good friends. I know I am sounding just like your mother right now but just ignore those people and enjoy the life that you have sculpted for yourself not that everyone else has sculpted for you! :D

Please don't be offended if you do stuff that a lot of other people do as well... I just want you to know that it is okay to be different and follow your own brain and not be controlled by others. As long as you do that I think its fine to do the same as everyone else because that way you can enjoy something that you like with others who do as well :)

Sorry its a bit short today guys,
Lots of Love,
Erin xoxox

Schoooool

Hey guys,
So school can be tough for some people and some people are just naturally in their element there. I guess you could say that I have experienced both sides of school.

So school was kind of tough in Primary School for me, not knowledge wise but because I was bullied. I know bullying is a very common thing all around the world so I'm pretty sure most of you guys reading this have experienced bullying in some form or another. Ever since I was 5 I have had the spot on the side of my face (its actually a calcium deposit) and ever since my adult teeth grew in I have had an overbite- I hate it when people call it buck teeth. So my appearance was something which was tough for me to be satisfied with the whole way through primary school, and even now in my penultimate year of High School. I don't think I dealt with the bullying very well... I think due to my own insecurities I wasn't very kind about certain people and I think I did to a certain extent bully people as well.. I wasn't a very nice person in my last year or so of Primary School (when I was 11).

So in school I suppose academically I have found the work quite easy to handle(apart from woodwork and physics :/ ) *Disclaimer - I'm not trying to showing off at all!* I think I have dealt with the work quite well. Last year I took 6 subjects to do my exams in - Physics, Biology, Maths, English, History and Business Management. In my mock exams I got three A's and three B's- but hopefully I did better in them in my actual exams.
Aside from those difficulties I think I have found most of the rest of school okay...ish.

Let's talk study leave......... This was probably the most stressful time in my life so far! I had 5 weeks leave from school- you may think that was a lot but believe me if I could get a longer time off then I would certainly take it!!! I'm still worrying about my results- I don't get my results for another month. I don't think I will even be able to open the envelope when I get it through the mail.

This year at a higher level I am taking 5 subjects- English, Maths, Human Biology, Business Management and Modern Studies which is kind of like politics :) I think so far the only one I'm kind of struggling with a bit is Maths.

Homework:
So this is probably one of the worst things about school, personally I find it difficult to motivate myself to do the work unless it is something that really interests me. For instance I have just finished a poster for Higher Human Biology but I still have English and Maths homework *yawn*...

So overall I think my feelings towards school are mixed I like it partially but especially as you move towards the higher stages of education it can become very stressful! But I have decided that this year I have to try and calm myself down more and prepare myself a bit more for mock exams in January. I hope those of you who go to school are doing well or are coping well with it if not then try and look at the positive side of things - ask your friends for help or family or even me if you are comfortable with that :) - I always strive to do that!

The Internet.

Hi Guys!
So I am OBSESSED with Youtube. My life practically revolves around it. I know it's ridiculous and I should be doing better things with my free time like going outside etc. etc.... But I just love it! I love watching the everyday videos and just hearing about other peoples lives. maybe that's kind of what got me motivated enough to even muster up the confidence to start a blog. If you have read my first blog post you would have seen that I have taken my inspiration from Youtubers such as Zoella, Tanya Burr and there are SOOO many more! Jim Chapman, Niomi Smart, Anna SacconeJoly, Louise Pentland, there are so many I can't name them all!

At one point I thought I might try making videos on Youtube I even created the channel and filmed half a video.. but then again I don't think I have the confidence to post videos of myself weekly or have the knowledge to edit and come up with different ideas for videos. Right at this moment I would say I am quite content with typing up all of my thoughts on to this blog for you guys to see :) To me I think it is sooooo cool that I can just post my thoughts on the internet and people from all over the world might be interested! if you are reading this please comment which country you are from I would love to see who reads this and where they are from!

The Internet is a crazy thing to me the fact that people can go on little or big devices and contact other people who live on the other side of the world to them.

Seeing as I am almost constantly on the Internet anyway writing this blog thankfully hasn't been too confusing for me to start up! Still.. it has been a bit crazy to get my head around a few things like my audience on this blog. I have only just started this blog and yet people from India, America and a few other countries have seen it... that blows my mind! *DISCLAIMER- I promise I'm not bragging I haven't had that many views as I type this now* I would really like your feedback on this blog any suggestions or anything I would love to see in the comments :)

Well I feel like you are probably going to be a bit bored at this point so I shall round up todays post with a few very true pictures which I find very funny:

Girly Girl or Tomboy?

Hey Guys :)
Welcome to my blog!
So today I shall be talking about what kind of a girl I am ... *rolls eyes*.
So there are two stereotypical types of girl- Girly girl or Tomboy.
When I was in Primary school (for those of you who don't live in the UK primary school is for 4/5-11/12 year olds) I had no idea what kind of girl I was. I kept on bouncing between the two until one momentous occasion when my dad said to me and my sister, "why aren't either of you a tomboy?" From that moment on I decided that I wanted to be a tomboy. I fulfilled the stereotypes of a tomboy from the age of about 9-12. I wore baggy clothes and played a lot of sports. Looking back I really don't think it is my kind of personality, but then again I am a growing girl and especially when I'm that immature I probably had no idea what kind of person I am/was.
So when I went into High School I think I decided that I wanted to be a lot more girly than before and therefore I decided to call myself a Girly Girl... I was still very young so I still didn't wear any make-up but I did start following all of the girl trends e.g short, SHORT, skirts... If I could travel back in time I would definitely tell myself off for that.
I think last year or the year before I decided that I didn't need to be either of these stereotypical girls.. *cue the cheesy statement* ..I could be my own person! So I drastically decided to cut my hair off very short.. this drastic picture of me shows just that.

As my hair started to grow back I think my confidence in myself grew too and I 'found myself'...

this picture shows how silly I became and I think it shows just how much I bloomed as a person ever since I was about 12/13. I think this just goes to show that you don't need to be a clone of society around you.

Right now I would say I am an inbetween of a Girly girl and tomboy.. I occasionally like make-up but not clarted all over my face and I like playing sports and baggy tops like anyone who likes to be comfortable I suppose :) I think my personality has shown how much I love the outdoors and has taught me that all you need is family and friends :) So overall its okay to be yourself! You don't need to follow the crowd!

Sports Day!!!

Hey amazing people who are reading this,
today was my schools sports day so I thought I might show/tell you about my day :)
I did 3 sports today, the first of which was dodgeball..... we won!!! YAYYYY!!! :D
Then we played basketball which showed me just how unfit I really am haha :P we also won that which I certainly wasn't expecting!
We then stopped for a bit for a burger HALLELUJAH!! It was sooo good, meat, ketchup and grease all in a bun is the best thing ever! You can tell I'm a carnivore haha.. :P
Me and my friends also decided that we wanted to get our face painted like warriors with sripes across our face before we played Rounders :)

yeah... you can tell that we aren't typical teenagers haha :P btw if you haven't been on my blog before I am the one on the very far right :)

So after that we played our games of rounders and won... WHOOP! WHOOP! The bonus of that was I managed to get my sister out because she was in he opposing team mwahahahaha!!!!
Then we decided to put up some posters around our school about this pupils vs teachers quiz which will be televised in October ... so that's exciting!!!
But anyway thanks for reading this and congratulations if you made it this far!!!

Who am I?

Hey :)
If there is anyone reading this my name is Erin... But then again you probably guessed that.
I'm fifteen and Scottish... I don't have the stereotypical accent though, my dad is English and my mum is Scottish so I don't really have an accent but if I would choose then I suppose it would be more of an English accent.
I'm obsessed with Youtube and have been inspired to started a blog by many Youtubers like Zoella, Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman.
I'm not sure if anyone will ever be interested in this but I thought why not give it a try seeing as it sounds fun :)
btw there will probably be an excessive amount of smiley faces, frozen references and harry potter references haha :P < see told you ... I'm not sure exactly what ill be blogging about but I think I'll do it about once a week :) So I thought maybe you might want to see a picture of me, forgive me of my lack of knowledge of blog posting.. sorry but I'm sure I will get up to speed soon... I hope. So this picture is of me and 2 of my best friends when we went camping. For those few people who are actually reading this, I'm the one who looks 8 in the middle :/

Sorry for the lack of knowledge on my part :)

Love, Erin <3
